Les colonnes de Buren

Les Deux Plateaux is a work of art by Daniel Buren in the courtyard of the Palais-Royal in Paris, created with architect Patrick Bouchain. Commonly called les colonnes de Buren, it replaces a former parking area with an urban installation of striped columns.

Wall of Love

Wall of Love is an artistically designed mural on the eastern facade of an older residential building in Montmartre, Paris. Established in 2000, it is dedicated to love and displays the phrase “Ich liebe Dich” in over 300 variants and 250 languages.

Paris 2024 cauldron

The Paris 2024 cauldron is the official Olympic and Paralympic flame structure installed in the Jardin des Tuileries. Designed by Mathieu Lehanneur, it combines a circular metallic cauldron, a balloon support, and electrically illuminated water mist.

Les Anneaux

Les Anneaux is an installation artwork by Daniel Buren and Patrick Bouchain on the quai des Antilles in Nantes. Created for the Estuaire 2007 contemporary art festival, it consists of 18 galvanized steel rings along the Loire and the hangar à bananes.

Téléscaphe

Téléscaphe was a cable car system inaugurated in June 1967 in a Mediterranean bay between Les Goudes and Callelongue in Marseille, France. Its cabins could submerge underwater, and participants received a certificate after the trip.
