Hospice Debrousse was a former hospital located at 29 rue Sœur-Bouvier in Lyon. It was specialized in pediatrics, and its hospital activity ended in 2007, when pediatric services in Lyon were regrouped at Hôpital Femme-Mère-Enfant. The establishment was originally decided in 1904 by widow Debrousse for elderly care on a 3.5-hectare site. It was then ceded to the Assistance Publique de Paris, while its management was delegated to the Hospices civils de Lyon. The hospital received about 200 patients starting in 1909, and its inauguration took place the same year. In 1912, the land was expanded through an acquisition, after which 38 social housing units were built. A further development led to the construction of 117 social housing units dispersed in five buildings. The historical buildings were later rehabilitated by a real estate company to create 68 apartments, including 15 social ones.
