Château de la Reynarde is a former medieval fortress that was converted into a castle in the 18th century. In that period, it belonged to the French noble family de Félix. The property was bought in 1868 by the merchant and shipowner Louis Régis, who renovated the château and its castle until the end of the 19th century. The château and its park have been classified as a Monument historique since July 17, 1996. Today, the building houses a care center for about 70 socially vulnerable children, youths, and young adults, linking its historic fabric to a present-day social function.
