Equestrian Statue of Joan of Arc
The equestrian statue of Joan of Arc by French sculptor Emmanuel Frémiet was inaugurated in 1874 at Place des Pyramides in Paris, France. Commissioned after the defeat in the Franco-German War of 1870, it portrays Joan of Arc on a large draft horse.
