Monument aux Girondins
The Monument aux Girondins stands at Place des Quinconces in Bordeaux. Built between 1894 and 1901, it honors the Girondin deputies who were victims of the Terreur. It is classified as a historical monument and is also known locally as the colonne des Girondins.
